netweaver:tutorials:mnemonic_constants
This screencast shows how to create and use mnemonic constants in NetWeaver2.
- Mnemonic constants are handy to use instead of hard-coded numbers because they are self-documenting and let others change their values without editing the knowledge base.
- Mnemonic constants are created automatically whenever you use a text string that is not a number in a situation that requires a number.
- Mnemonic constant values can be set or changed by:
- Open a data list window.
- Switch to the “k” tab.
- Edit the mnemonic constant's value.
